MEDIUM USED: Liquefied oil paints, acrylic paints and mixed techniques
SUPPORT: Canvas on gallery backboard supported by a wood frame. The painting is ready for hanging.
FRAMING: Optional for the purchaser.
PREPARATION: Minimum of two layers of gesso paint primer is added to insure paint adhesiveness and durability
 

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

“Burnt Earth” was painted not long after I saw a documentary on what the earth would look like it in a thousand years if, as a species, we didn’t do something to reverse global warming. What would result would be a vast burning wasteland with reminiscences of our oceans and lakes.

This is my rendition of the upper part of lake Superior, one of the five great north American lakes, in a thousand years.
