DIMENSIONS: 24 in. x 36 in. – 61 cm. x 82 cm.
MEDIUM USED: Acrylic paints and mixed techniques
SUPPORT: Canvas mounted on a wood frame or gallery wood panel mounted on a high-grade wood chassis.

EDGES: The edges vary in thickness from ½ to 1½ inches. As part of the artwork the edges of all the canvases are painted
FRAMING: Optional since the canvas edges are part of the artwork. All paintings are pre-wired and arrive ready to hang.
PREPARATION: Minimum of two layers of gesso paint is added to the raw canvas to insure adhesiveness and durability
SURFACE FINISH: Only the abstract paintings by Trebor are given a minimum of two coats of fine art varnish to protect the artwork against color fading due to light exposure and air pollution

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

When I engage in a painting, my process is not complicated. I choose only the primary colors that will reproduce the emotion or a mixture of sentiments that I want to communicate on the raw canvas in front of me since, in my colorist world… color = emotion. Then I mix and match these primary paints and I let my “emotional abandonment” brings me to a point of “WOW, it’s finished”!

From this start to finish process I rely fully on my instincts as a colorist artist. The result is an abstract work that totally surpassed what I had initially set out to paint. To me, that is what creating abstract art is all about… abandonment, experimentation, and the love of color! The final artwork always represents the most precious of me… my instincts as a colorist painter, my emotions of the moment and my intuition to produce a balanced and vibrating painting. All these traits are reflected in all my abstract art. That is what makes each painting incredibly special to me and to the collectors who purchase my abstract work.

Authentication: All acquisitions include a certificate of authentication and the bill of sale. Also, Trebor artwork is signed on one of the painting edges and on the reverse side of the painting. Trebor feels that any signature, on the front of his artwork, creates a distraction for the viewer. In addition, every painting includes on the reverse side, the copyrighted title, month and year it was created, its dimensions and the artist’s contact information.

Taxes: Sales taxes apply only to paintings purchased and shipped within Canada. Custom duties, taxes and other fees to the point of destination are the buyer responsibility.

Shipping within North America: The shipping cost for your purchase is added at the time of checkout for destinations within Canada and the continental USA.

Packaging Surcharge: Trebor uses the most reliable packaging methods possible to protect your purchase during shipment.
